In ''[[SM026]]'', i [[genitori di Chrys]] informano il ragazzo che devono trasferirsi, cosa che lo lascia abbastanza sconvolto. Più tardi, però, scopre che doveva semplicemente andare in una casa poco vicino a quella attuale, e si spaventa all'idea di dover spiegare la verità agli amici, che stanno organizzando una festa di addio per lui. Ash regala all'amico un [[Charjabug]], che il ragazzo cattura volentieri. Dopo aver catturato Charjabug, Chrys si mette a piangere e si scusa con i suoi amici per averli ingannati senza volerlo. Il ragazzo non voleva rivelare la verità, per paura della reazione negativa dei suoi amici, ma tutti rimangono felici del fatto che Chrys non debba andarsene via.
