Vera riscopre il comportamento meschino e capriccioso di Skitty in ''[[AG053|Attacco Assistente, attacco vincente!]]'', dove disturba un gruppo di [[Slugma]], facendoli finire nei guai. Decide di insegnarle a lottare, scoprendo che conosce la mossa {{m|Assistente}} ma, nonostante evochi {{m|Braciere}} e {{m|Ventargenteo}}, viene sconfitta nel suo incontro di allenamento contro [[Julie]] ed il suo [[Furret]]. Skitty viene inoltre catturata assieme a Vera dal Team Rocket quando si mette ad inseguire il loro robot, dopo che hanno rapito tutti i [[Numel]] addormentati di Julie. Tuttavia, Skitty riesce a svegliarli con Braciere, tramite Assistente, per poi usare usare Doppiasberla per distruggere l'innaffiatore che il Team Rocket usa per sedarli. Usa di nuovo Braciere tramite Assistente in ''[[AG058|Non entrate in quella valle!]]'' per deviare un gruppo di [[Magnemite]] che sta attaccando un {{AP|Torkoal}}.

Quenda Vera ed i suoi amici ritornano a [[Ciclamipoli]] in ''[[AG059|Incontri tra amici]]'', Skitty affronta l'[[Ampharos]] di [[Watt (anime)|Watt]]. Skitty manda a segno diversi attacchi, ma viene colpita da un {{m|Tuonoshock}} quando Watt rivela che Ampharos può reindirizzare l'attacco. Un ultimo {{m|Codacciaio}} sta per sconfiggerla, ma Skitty usa Assistente per usare l'{{m|Attacco Rapido}} di Torchic per schivare Tuonoshock e colpisce Ampharos, concludendo l'incontro con Doppiasberla.

In ''[[AG060|Evoluzione!]]'', Skitty perde la voce in una lotta con il {{TRT}}. Tuttavia, la [[Dr. Abby]] riesce a risolvere questo problema con un semplice massaggio. Abby era una volta una [[Coordinatore|Coordinatrice]] che aveva viaggiato con il suo Skitty, Johnny, ma, dopo che venne ferito, divenne una dottoressa e fece evolvere Skitty in [[Delcatty]]. Entrambi vengono poi rapiti dal Team Rocket, ma si liberano ed attaccano {{TP|Jessie|Seviper}} e {{TP|James|Cacnea}}. La Dr. Abbey aiuta Skitty ad imparare {{m|Bora}}, come il suo Johnny, che può usare anche {{m|Solarraggio}} e {{m|Fulmine}}. Con Bora nel suo arsenale, Skitty aiuta a spedire in orbita il Team Rocket.

Skitty was used in the [[Verdanturf Town]] [[Pokémon Contest]] in ''[[AG062|Disguise Da Limit]]''. A failed Blizzard almost botched her opener, but she salvaged the round by juggling with DoubleSlap, a skill learned from Abby and Johnny, and this allowed her to move on with enough points. She then defeated [[Stefano]]'s {{p|Wartortle}} and moved further on in the tournament, eventually reaching the finals where she went up against [[Timmy Grimm]] and his {{p|Dusclops}}, but she had a tough time battling it due to the {{type|Normal}}-{{type|Ghost}} ineffectiveness, being only able to trust in her unpredictable Assist and unmastered Blizzard. Skitty was hit by a {{m|Focus Punch}}, but failed to attack with DoubleSlap due to the immunity. However, Skitty managed to deflect a follow-up Focus Punch with DoubleSlap, only to be damaged by a {{m|Will-O-Wisp}}/{{m|Psychic}} [[Contest combination|combination]]. Dusclops gained the upper hand with a series of {{m|Hyper Beam}}s whilst Skitty could not muster Blizzard to create opposition. Ultimately, Skitty used Assist to get {{m|Gust}} and defend herself from Hyper Beam. She then used an {{m|String Shot}} through Assist to block Focus Punch, and Ember to block Will-O-Wisp. Finally, Skitty pulled off Blizzard and knocked out Timmy's Dusclops, winning the tournament.
